Exterior trim cost estimator
Soffit and Fascia Cost Calculator
Build a rough soffit and fascia replacement cost from total eave length, rake length, soffit depth, material rates, labor rates, waste, and markup. It is a scoped planning number, not a full bid.
Exterior trim costs need field scope
This is an early estimate. Rot repair, gutter removal, ventilation changes, access, multi-story work, metal wrap, disposal, and local labor rates can change the actual bid.

Soffit and fascia cost formula
Soffit area = total eave length × soffit depth
Fascia length = total eave length + rake length
Material subtotal = soffit area × soffit material rate + fascia length × fascia material rate
Total = (material subtotal + labor subtotal) × (1 + markup %)
Sample takeoff
A job with 80 ft of total eaves, 60 ft of rake fascia, 2 ft soffit depth, 10% waste, and the default material and labor rates lands near $4,000 as a rough planning total.
Soffit and Fascia Cost Calculator FAQ
How do I estimate soffit and fascia cost?+
Measure total eave length, soffit depth, and rake fascia length. Price soffit by area, fascia by length, add labor, then apply waste and markup.
Is this a replacement bid?+
No. It is a rough planning calculator. A real bid needs access, rot repair, gutters, ventilation, disposal, and local labor details.
Why split materials and labor?+
Splitting subtotals makes it easier to discuss the job with suppliers, crews, or future marketplace partners without hiding the assumptions.
