What VibeCalc is
VibeCalc provides free construction calculators (concrete volume, wall framing, rafter length, baluster spacing, and others added over time) for builders, carpenters, and other tradespeople. The calculators run standard construction formulas with imperial and metric support.
Estimation only - not professional advice
Calculations are provided for estimation purposes only. They are based on standard formulas and do not account for site-specific conditions, local building codes, material variations, structural loading, soil conditions, or any other factor a licensed professional would assess.
The calculators are not a substitute for professional engineering, architectural, or contracting advice. For load-bearing structures, foundations, permitted construction, or any work requiring inspection, you must consult a licensed professional.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Verifying all measurements, material specifications, and tolerances independently before purchasing materials or beginning work.
- Ensuring compliance with your local building codes, permits, and inspections.

In no event will VibeCalc, its operators, contributors, or licensors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to property damage, structural failure, personal injury, lost profits, or material costs, arising from or related to your use of the service or any decisions made based on its output.
By using the service, you accept this allocation of risk and waive any claim against VibeCalc for losses caused by errors, omissions, miscalculations, system unavailability, or any other defect in the service.
Intellectual property
The VibeCalc name, logo, design, code, and content are the property of VibeCalc and its licensors. You may use the calculators freely for your own work. You may not redistribute, mirror, scrape, or republish substantial portions of the site or app without permission.
Affiliate disclosure
Some calculator pages include links to materials and tools on Amazon. These are affiliate links: if you make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We disclose this clearly on each page where such links appear. See the Privacy Policy for the cookies these links may set.
Acceptable use
You may use the service for any lawful construction-related purpose. You may not:
- Attempt to disrupt or compromise the service.
- Scrape large portions of the site or repeatedly automate calculator requests beyond reasonable personal use.
- Misrepresent VibeCalc output as professional engineering certification.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
